A World War 2 era W. W. Boes and Co. MKll astro compass typically used as an aviation navigation aid. It is manufactured from aluminum with black enamel finish. An astro compass is a navigational tool used to determine true north from the position of the sun or astronomical bodies. These are used in circumstances where magnetic compasses and gyrocompasses are unreliable, for example in the presence of magnetic field anomalies (such as polar regions, ships hulls, aircraft hulls, etc.). Pennant produced for the Royal Australian Air Force. This triangular pennant is made from a dark blue wool felt cloth with two loops attached to the fly. The pennant is marked with the insignia of the Royal Australian Air Force.

This triangular pennant is made from a dark blue wool felt cloth with two loops attached to the fly. The pennant is marked with the Royal Australian Air Force insignia and wording associated with the sports day.

A set of two spent ammunition rounds complete with projectile, which are souvenirs of World War 1. These are from the 1 inch Nordenfelt machine gun, the projectiles are made from solid steel with a brass jacket, have an exposed steel tip and have a groove near the base. Both the brass cartridge case and the projectile are highly polished and have been chromed (?). These are examples of trench art having been engraved with floral patterns and the words "to Fred from NL". These items were owned by Frederic Harley MM, s/n 910, a WW1 Artillery Gunner in the 36th Australian Heavy Artillery Group who served in France. He enlisted in Frankston and lived in Frankston after returning to Australia. A golf bag which has been made using parts of the standard issue Army rifle bag used during the World War 2 era.

Jungle boots, Vietnam era, used by U S troops and also acquired by Australian troops, prior to adoption of the US leather GP boots.A pair of jungle boots, as new, that were issued during the Vietnam conflict for U S troops, but also acquired and used by Australian troops. Constructed of leather and green canvas, and the instep of both boots has a pair of circular brass eyelets with a several tiny holes for draining water from inside the boot. They have black rubber soles on both boots . In the arch of the heel is the boot size of '(10W)' and the manufacturers stamping of '(C.I.C.)' which is believed to be associated with the principal manufacturer 'GENESCO'. Inside there is an implant for increased wearer comfort. (CIC) and (10W) on the sole near the arch. The tongue has an ink imprint; (10W) (GJ) (3 68) (SPIKE) (PROTECTIVE)

A small souvenir model of the Australian Army 'slouch hat' complete with folded brim to one side and the 'rising sun' hat badge. The model was presumably stamped from thin Copper plate. The impression of the hat badge is similar to the 1949 'fourth pattern' Australian Military Forces badge with the King's Crown.
