The dance was held on Friday 8th November 1985 at the Port Melbourne Town Hall to celebrate the wind up of Victoria's 150th anniversary celebrations. Cost of admission was $5.00 which included a light supper. This flagon was produced to celebrate Sunbury's 150th anniversary 1836-1986. Similar ones were filled with wine and were for sale or given as presentations at the time of the anniversary. This one is unused and therefore is in mint condition.Cream and brown small ceramic wine flagon with Sunbury 150 and a logo printed on the front and on the back is a short printed history of Sunbury. The bullock team was part of a parade held on the main street of Halls Gap in conjunction with the 150th anniversary of Major Mitchell's visit to the area. There was also a plaque unveiled in commemoration of the Wildflower Show and its many volunteers.The photo shows a crowd watching a bullock team hauling a dray with five children sitting in it down a road. The Ballarat SChool of MInes Time Capsule should have been opened in 2020 for the 150th anniversary since the establishment of the Ballarat School of Mines, but due to the Covid 19 pandemic and the associated lockdowns it was not opened untll 2022.time capsule, ballarat school of mines

Mrs Buch was the oldest living member of St. James' Uniting Church at the time of its anniversary in September 1984. The Presbyterian church was opened in September 1859, and closed in 2009, just short of its 150th anniversary.
