There is a policeman on point duty. In the view are signs for G A Grano Mantle manufacturers, Smiths Pawnbroker, State Savings Bank, MIchaels Camera store, one horse-drawn cart, and motor vehicles. On the west side footpath under an awning is a "Keep to the left" for pedestrians. Flinders St Railway Station can be seen in the far distance.
