Manufactured badge or employee pass - brass with nickel plate finish with a single hole in one side, engraved with the Metropolitan Transit Authority logo and the organisation name. A number has been stamped on the rear. Donor advised that these passes were issued to MTA Traffic Officers (see related documents). Pass numbers held: 47, 81, 98 and 182. .1 - Set of 9 Tramway Union badges and other badges pinned to a piece of heavy blue cloth with sewn edges comprising 5 Public Transport Union (PTU) badges, three Australian Tramway and Motor Omnibus Employees Association (ATMOEA) badges, three The Met number lapel badges (Nos. 1121, 2416 and 3817), one RSL tie clip and one tie clip with a wheel inside a black background, with a "LEGA" .2 - AMTOEA badge in a plastic bag as would have been received by the member - brass back with pin clip on rear with blue surround and red around the state name. .3 - PTU badge in a plastic bag, brass, with clip missing, black surround, with red vehicles, green map of Australia and yellow around the map. Set of uniform items for the "St John Ambulance Brigade" of Victoria used by Frank Kuffer as a member of the Brigade. .1 - Comprises: a. - 5 large uniform name badges with the words "St John Ambulance Brigade". Made on black cloth - backing, black stitching on the edge and the words "Conductor Trainer" stitched in white cotton - 54H x 71W. Each page has scanned to a pdf file. Page 1 - newspaper cutting and two photos of Ballarat No. 27 completing 1,000,000 miles. Item from "A Place in the Sun" written by Keith Dunstan. Photo of tram 27 by the Ballarat Courier. Date of Photo. 29/6/1968, taken prior to the TMSV Tour of that date. Black and white photograph of a group of the passengers on No. 27 during the celebration of the tram reaching 1,000,000 (million) miles in Ballarat. Glenys George, Brian Weedon, John Fitzsimons, Graeme Turnball, Paul Nicholson, Barry George and Kevin Clark. Page 2 - black and white photograph of Geelong Nos 2, 8, 4, 1 and another 4 wheel tramcar and a open cab motor bus photographed within the interior of Geelong depot, prior to 1924. From notes provided by David O'Neill, 12/2003, advises that bus driver is either Bill Hamaling or Charles Stafford. Gentlemen next to No. 8 could be Vic Phipps.
