It describes the issues that have been identified as needing attention, the way in which the panel has gone about its task, the tensions that arise because of competing objectives for managing the regulated Murray, and possible improvements and changes to the balance between competing objectives. This is a photograph of three retired officers from the Royal Australian Survey Corps taken on Corps Day, at the School of Military Survey, Latchford Barracks, Bonegilla in July 1991. BRIG Don Macdonald AM served in the Australian Regular Army from 1st of January 1936 to 22nd of March 1967. He was the Director of the Survey Corps from January 1960 to March 1967. COL Macdonald was promoted to Brigadier before assuming the honorary position of Colonel Commandant of RA Svy from August 1967 to January 1973. LTCOL Bob Skitch served in the Australian Regular Army from 14th of February 1955 to 27th of February 1981. He was the CO of the Army Survey Regiment from 1976 to 1980. LT Leo Noel Fletcher MID served in the Australian Regular Army from 1st January 1938 to 14th November 1945. He was the NSW Surveyor General from 1965 to 1978.This is a photograph of three retired officers from the Royal Australian Survey Corps taken on Corps Day, at the School of Military Survey, Latchford Barracks, Bonegilla in July 1991. The rate books are a primary source about Ringwood ratepayers, as well as indicating street and estate names.This is the parent record for the Borough of Ringwood Rate Book collection. The VC Reference Number range 33001-34999 has been reserved. The Borough of Ringwood was created in December 1924, formally part of the South-West riding of the Shire of Lillydale. Ringwood was proclaimed a city on 19 March 1960. On 15 December 1994, the City of Ringwood was amalgamated to form part of Maroondah City Council. The detailed years are: 1924-25, 1926-27, 1928-29, 1930-31, 1932-34, 1934-35 and 1944-49. For researchers, the rate books are in assessment number sequence. Occasionally, they is also in surname or estate sequence but do not rely on this. The original records are kept at PROV, North Melbourne. At 13/3/2021 the bulk of the collection is being processed ready for a bulk load to Victorian Collections. The Ballarat Mining Board moved a motion to start Australia's first school of Mines at Ballarat. This document shows the resolutions of the Mining Board, and make reference to the Ballarat School of Mines Trustees, Redmond Barry, Rivett Henry Bland and Somerville Livingston Learmonth. The constution was adopted on 25 January 1870.The Ballarat School of Mines is Australia's first School of Mines. This handwritten documents sets down the initital constitution of the school, including corrections and additions. Seven large blue pieces of paper with handwriting relating to the setting up of the Ballarat School of Mines. Appendix A is an outline of the constitution of the proposed school.
