This camera went ashore at Gallipoli on the first day of the invasion 25/04/1915.Metal silver Vest Pocket Kodak Camera. Rectangular box type with scissor pop out lens. Bellows made of leather During WW1 it was marketed as a camera suitable for soldiers due to size and portability, often referred to as "The soldiers camera". It has small shutter release button mounted above the lens plate and below the lens there is a slider for choice of apertures, It originally used A127 autographic roll film. Two small iron alloy container with underneath recessed and perforated to enable matches to be struck on it. Hinged lid/cover. Worn but can see some blue colouring on one and green on the other. Inside of one container the top of a Japanese hand seal.WAX VESTA on top. Other marking worn away. -

Brass belt buckle. Rectangular shaped ring to fit around belt with small circle eyelet fused on to hold a "S" shaped clasp.The Clasp is in the form of snake with a head of both ends. S shape clasp has some markings on it and head of snake at both ends. -

Fighting pick. Appears to be from Papua New Guinea. (fighting pick of Tari.?) Implement in shape of pick with handle and head. Head attached to handle by way of cane binding. Appears to be soft wood handle and head of harder wood. Fighting pick appears to be from Papua New Guinea. (Tari Fighting Pick ?) Implement is made of wood (appears soft wood handle with hard wood head.) Pick/hammer shaped with head attached to handle by cane binding.Some grooving on rear of the head and small binding at back.Wood colour with some red coloring in the grooves at back of head. -
