Chris. Christiansen had a barber shop in Sunbury and was the photographer in the town from 1895 until 1916. He conducted his business in a building situated on the corner of Evans and Brooks Streets. The Gillies Bridge is situated on the Wildwood Road, just off the Lancefield Road.A mounted sepia photograph of the Gillies Bridge at Sunbury. On 4th August 1978 the construction of the Goonawarra Housing Estate commenced. The estate was formerly known as the Goonawarra Farm and overloked the Sunbury town area and Jacksons Creek valley. Plans for the new development included a gold course, housing, community and recreational facilities. The construction continued througout the last two decades of the twentieth century and into the twenty first century.A coloured photograph of the clubhouse taken from the south west at the Goonawarra Golf Club. The surrounding garden has been planted out with trees and has been mulched. This book is hand written in ink a list of occupiers and addresses of properties in Sunbury requiring cleaning of water closets between the years 1895 and 1908.
