Photographic album containing 39 Colour postcards of Melbourne trams. The album consists of 30 leaves of dark grey heavy paper with three creases on left hand side of sheet, bound into a heavy bluey grey folder, embossed in gold 'Scrap Book" and bound with bluey grey string with two holes. The cover has been embossed with a the blue grey in swirls. Inside of back cover is a white label, "A New Star Product", with a please ask for No. with "425" stamped on. Postcards have been glued into the album. Entries have been kept to a single line - cards are able to be dated from buildings, whether the trams have marker lights, types of motor cars and general Melbourne history. A4 folded pamphlet, brochure, titled "Ballarat's Horse Trams" produced originally for the October 1994 CHHA exhibition at the Ballarat Drill Hall at which the Horse tram was displayed outside. Printed by a laser printer on A4 paper - yellow - featuring a vertical photo of the horse tram near Windmill Drive North, unloading the body of No. 1 in 1985 at the depot and inaugural running in 1992. Also has a membership application form for the BTM. Gives a brief history of the horse trams in Ballarat and the reconstruction of the vehicle itself. ESCo Employee Hours Work Record book that has been used by an ESCo/SEC inspector, H. P. James as a record / note book for his personal collection or papers or journal titled "In Other Days". Book sewn with string in 36 page sections, blank end papers, board covers with stipple paper out sides and Rexene cloth binding. Comprising plain paper end papers and 104 printed pages (52 leaves), with each sheet printed in black on feint ruled paper for recording the hours worked and other details of drivers and conductors employed by ESCo. Printed for daily use, with Day and date page headings - made out for the 1930's. Text generically printed feint ruled paper.
