E. Hall, Acting Traffic Manger. Book consists of one sections, bound with sewn cloth binding on the outside with glued white paper end covers. Each has a hole in the base to enable it to be checked that it was empty prior to use or after being used. One of the 3d containers have a loose "washer" which shows the nature of the construction. Has been secured with a piece of string.Demonstrates the methodologies used to count coins and stack them in a revenue office. Provides a sample of each coin that would have been used.Brass coin holder - for use in counting 3d and 6d coins. Made from brass tube with a brass washer rolled or fixed to one end. Ticket for the 5th tour in Melbourne operated by Yapper Tours, (sometimes spelled Yappa), using Ballarat Tramway Preservation Society tramcar W3 661. The reference gives the date as 6/5/1989, the background to its operation in Melbourne and the tram itself. Has the initials PJC on the side of the ticket. On the rear is a facsimile 1966 SEC dual currency ticket. Has space for the student's name, address and school to be written in. Used by Shirley Bosworth. The ticket was found behind a tram sand box and was most likely lost by the holder. It was in an almost inaccessible position and recovered when the sand box had to be removed for maintenance, along with other tickets.
