Set of two photographs of Ballarat tram 25 loaded on a Yellow Express Mack prime mover GPU 328 leaving for Bendigo on 6/10/1960. The process of fitting the dash canopy lighting had commenced, with the small white stripe painted under the windows. The trolley pole base has been removed as well. Bendigo first commenced tramway operation in 1890 using battery trams. These were not successful.
