The first section of the film was to feature the last run of the trams in Ballarat the following Sunday. Has a photo of a meeting of members of the film unit, the City Council, and the Ballarat Regional Tourist Promotion Association the previous day. First clipping from The Courier, Ballarat, 2/4/1971 with photo of tram 28 after is collision the previous day with a semi-trailer at the intersection of Princes and Victoria Streets. Gives names of the vehicle drivers and cost of the damage. Photo is of the tram returning to the depot under its own power. Harrison, Mayor of the City of Ballaarat, dated 2nd May 1932 of the "brave deed" of Mr. Charles Foster, ESCo driver who rescued a small boy from in front of a tramcar.
