This item is a trophy awarded to J S Archbold who was in the 7th National Service intake (C Company) for a win in a tug-of-war competition during training at Puckapunyal. Corporal Archbold served in the Australian Force Vietnam Provost Unit, 1968-69, and was awarded the Military Medal for bravery.Silver-coloured electroplated circular ashtray with four recessed grooves for resting cigarettes. Mounted in the middle is a round medallion that spins, bearing the 2 Recruit Training Battalion emblem:
