Clearance certificate and covering letter - Brother Alan Aubrey Williams, Master Mason, ceased to be a member of Prince of Wales Mark Lodge No.8 under the United Grand Lodge of Antient, Free and Accepted Masons of Victoria and is clear of all dues. Dated at St.Kilda on 31st March, 1943. Covering letter addressed to Brother Williams signed by Norman Wright, Secretary, 12th April, 1942.

Photo of ESCo No. 8 - side on view of tram. Has Driver standing by front of tram, a person, possibly conductor standing by rear, though tram set up for one man operation. Good detailed side view of tram, showing arrangements of blinds, seats etc. Has "Suttons Pianos" advertisement on side and "Pictures Coliseum tonight" ad on the inside middle window. Tram has been converted to have windscreens. Three ladies on the front seat section of the tramcar. Date unknown. Post 1912. Tram still has magnetic brakes. The step section by the seats has not been covered over with sheet metal to prevent people standing on the steps, as shown in later photographs. Photo taken in Wendouree Parade with the Garden's Kiosk in the background.
