Josef Thum was a Austrian artist in Camp 13, as a POW. Ken Hill was a member of AAAS - Mobile Cinema Unit 36 around 1946-47 and based at Murchison. After hostilities ceased, Thum was permitted to assist Ken Hill in the presentation of "pictures" as was the common term of the period, each time there was a screening at MurchisonBlack and white pencil sketch of a bridge, Church Spire and building in Melbourne.
