Mrs Mackenzie Gladys Dalziel Weatherly was married to Eng-Cdr Harold Ponsonby Mackenzie, former Ballarat College school council member 1925-1946.. Her son, Alastair J Mackenzie was a member of the Ballarat College Council 1957-73 & Ballarat Clarendon College Council 1974-80. Alastair was significantly involved in the purchase of 1415 Sturt Street. This property was extensively renovated and opened as the Elsie Morison Creative Arts Centre in 1985.
