This is an Army woollen great coat. Three Bakelite buttons are on the front, one is missing. It has large collars and it has two pockets. On the rear waist is a small fixed belt of similar woollen material. It has epaulettes held down by a brown Bakelite button. The rear has the 'split' with two buttons. This appears to be a conversion from an Army greatcoat to a half length coat or jacket done by a Tailor or similar. No buttons. Metal zip sewn under flaps to close over chest.
