Photograph of Bendigo sprinkler or scrubber tram taken at the depot. Shows the equipment provided on the tram and the lights for night working. The tram was replaced in 1954 by cross bench tram No. 17, converted for this purpose. Pressed metal uniform badge for the M&MTB, Employees. Round pressed steel badge with the words "M&MTB" pressed into the badge around the top portion of the badge, the word "EMPLOYE" and number "28" pressed into the lower half of the badge -with small horizontal lines within the individual letters. On rear badge two metal lugs have been soldered onto the badge to allow a leather strap to be fitted to the badge. Yields information about the materials and the methods of installing electrical domestic cables in Ballarat houses during the 1920's.Section of timber or wooden electrical conduit used in houses c1920, to contain wires for electrical lamps and fittings. Consists of a timber base (very light softwood - ??) with two slots that was nailed to a wall and after the cable installed a cover strip applied. Has one end mitred or cut at 45 degrees. Yields information about a system of tram passes that were provided to the City of Ballarat Councillors in 1960 and has a strong association with the Councillors himself.Stamped brass badge or pass for free travel on the Ballarat Tramways for the year 1906. Stamped to give the words "Ballarat Electric Trams 1906" on the outer edge of the Badge and then stamped out to give the letters 'B E T" on the inside of the badge. On the top of the badge, a hole has been provided and a steel ring fitted. On the rear of the badge has the letters "CR. T. J. Hoare" stamped on the top of the badge and on the bottom the manufacturer's name "Stokes" in a reverse stamp. Indicates badge issued to the Councillor for the year 1906.
