A black and white photograph of Tudor Lodge Cafe in Narbethong in Victoria. After being known as Misty Hills Guest House it became Tudor Lodge Cafe then Tudor Lodge Roadhouse. The building was destroyed in the 2009 Black Saturday bushfires. The building was subsequently rebuilt albeit as a smaller building and was known as Wombat Cottage. The Marysville-Woods Point Road was originally part of the Yarra Track, constructed in the early 1860s to provide access between Healesville and the Woods Point Goldfields. Despite the steep terrain and engineering difficulties, the Yarra Track soon became a busy route used by pack horses, horse-drawn drays, and wagons.
