Model of the Gold Nugget found by VSF Students, H.H. Beer and J.C. Westcott at the Forestry School, Creswick in 1931. The Nugget, 99% pure gold, weighed 73 ounces, 6 pennyweight and was found in Grub Gully, between the School and the State Nursery. It sold for 388 Pounds, 16 Shillings & 7 Pence ($93,264.80 in 2017). The model was presented to the School by Mr. H.H. Beer in December 1985.Model of a Gold Nugget -

... , trained at Number 7 Flying School Deniliquin NSW. nurse carter's ...Circa WW2 1940 - 1945. Used for RAAF Trainee pilots for Wirraway and Tiger Moth training. This helmet belonged to Francis Robertson, trainee RAAF Pilot who crashed his aircraft into Nurse Carter's residence at Chiltern (May 30th, 1943) whilst on a training flight from Advanced Training Squadron Deniliquin NSW. The Helmet is associated with Francis Robertson WW2 RAAF Pilot, trained at Number 7 Flying School Deniliquin NSW. Khaki Canvas and metal helmet used in WW2 circa 1943 for trainee pilots of Wirrway's and Tiger moths. Made of sturdy heavy duty canvas with some metal underlay, leather and sheepskin straps, brass attachment buckles.
