A series of early twentieth century photographs were sourced and reprinted on to chipboard panels for use by the Royal Blind Society of NSW publicity department, to demonstrate the work and activities that blind people did at the Sydney Industrial Blind Institute (later RBS NSW, now Vision Australia). The Eureka A4 was a Melbourne invention, designed to capitalise on the growth of IBM PCs. It attached to the PC and allowed blind and vision impaired people to utilise screen orientated programs. The Royal Victorian Institute for the Blind supported the project and in this image, David Blyth and the managing director of Robotron Milan Hudecek, pose for a publicity shot at the launch of the Eureka A4 Notetaker in July 1997. Bike Bendigo is a not for profit organisation with a vision to make Bendigo regional Australia's bicycle capital. it aims to make bike riding an easy and attractive option for all ages and abilities. The Mullindolingong school was opened in 1881 and was across the river from Tawonga State School with which it worked half-time from 1881 to 1894. The school was closed don from 1894 to 1923 in a different location. In 1949 it was renamed Coral Bank.It finally closed in 1954 and became part of Dederang School. Ref. Providing more than education or employment, blind and low vision organisations recognised that many people needed assistance in navigating paper forms to access support from the government.
