This 18 page Liftout Souvenir from The Emerald Hill and Sandridge Times marks the 150 Anniversary of arrival of the first white settlers in Victoria. They were the Henty Brothers from Tasmania who settled around Portland. The picket group formed St Patricks' Day 1987 at Graham station as the first earthworks began for closing the railway.They were confronted by police who used physical force to break the picket.
