In the late 1960s St. Mary's Anglican Church was dismantled from its Oaklands Road site and rebuilt on land in Bulla township adjacent to the old shire offices. It was moved because of the interference it would create for aircraft landing in the new Melbourne Airport at Tullamarine. Eric Boardman Collection The Bubeck family lived at Diggers Rest, Toolernvale Road. Felix Bubeck came to Australia with his mother, father and brother. Felix died in 1917-1918. Felix married Mary Ellen Seuling. Mary Ellen was born in 1861. Mary's father was a blacksmith at Keilor in 1858-1940. He is buried at Keilor Cemetery. Felix and Mary had five daughters: Freida, Daphne, Silvia, Violet, Vera. Bubeck on Alex Lloyd's farm. Frank O'C as a boy, delivered groceries from Eadies. Joseph Gundry was born at Lopen ,Somerset England circa 1810.He arrived in Van Dieman's Land 1832from England ,followed by his brothers,William 1837,and Charles later .Joseph died a Jan Juc in 1878 and is buried it the Bellbrae Cemetery .Black and white photograph of Joseph Gundry

William Richard Gundry ,was born at Peubla (Torquay) in 1860 married Anna Mariah Tomamicheal . He was the sixth child ofJoseph and Mary . William was on the Barrabool Council for in excess of thirty years . The historic item in the entry room was presented to William on his retirement from the council .He died at Jan Juc in 1941 and is burried at the Bellbrae Cemetery .

Photograph shows Llanberris House, built by Joseph and Mary Gundry on Iron Bark Station, west of the Anglesea Geelong Road, off Menzels Road above Spring Creek. The Gundrys took up Iron Bark station in 1844 and subsequently bought up more surrounding land. Just prior to Joseph's death in 1878, the property comprising 7721 acres was offered for sale as well as conditional rights to adjoining land. Photograph shows members of the Bubb family cutting ironbark logs in the Anglesea forest for their sawmill. The sawmill was established after WW2 to provide work for his sons. The sons who worked at the mill were Arthur, Harold (aka Jimmy), and Robert all of whom are buried at Bellbrae cemetery. Their daughter Lena married William Cunningham who ran the Bellbrae Post Office and Store from 1940 to 1973. His family lived in Blackburn Road Blackburn and he had worked picking fruit. He was an artillery man who trained in England and fought in the Third Battle of Ypres.
