Small Buff card issued by the Commonwealth of Australia War Damage Commission, under the National Security (War Damage to Property) Regulations. This Certificate of Authority, Number V589, was issued to Ringwood Councillor J.K.McCaskill, Alexander Rd. Ringwood on 14th July 1942. Under the regulations, "..for the purposes of assessing FIXED PROPERTY & OTHER THAN FIXED PROPERTY Claims...", the bearer "is authorised to enter premises and inspect property in accordance with the Regulations"

Large cardboard-backed scrapbook found within National Wool Museum. May have originally been part of a display. Scrapbook contains dozens of auction notices for various properties around the Geelong region, many of them auctioned through Dennys Lascelles & Austin Co, or Strachan, Murray & Shannon Co. Auction notices are undated. Some have hand-written notes about who bought the property or if it was passed in. No indication on who compiled the book.Navy blue cloth-wrapped cardboard front and back cover book, with a red spine and corners. Book has paper pages with dozens of pages containing an auction notice attached. Auction notices relate to properties auctioned through local Geelong woolbrokers. There are several loose auction notice copies which are sitting on pages with a copy attached.

Beer came in bottles sold at licensed premises either locally or in larger cities visited during shopping expeditions. The shape of bottles were recycled remaining the property of the manufacturer who paid for their return. At the bottom near the base is heavily embossed print (in capital letters) around the circumference. At the base is embossed a horseshoe shape.Inside spade shape: M. B. above C. V.. Photograph of a large group of boys playing tug of war on beach. From the inscription it was at Somers Camp in January 1979. Melbourne Legacy provided camps for junior legatees. It started with outings to the property of Legacy founder, Legatee Stan Savige, who had a place in Balnarring. Permanent camp buildings were built and with an association with Lord Somers (Governor of Victoria) it was called Somers Camp.
