Galen Catholic College is lucky to have a climbing wall in the school gymnasium, which is used regularly to teach Outdoor Education students the right climbing technique and to build up their confidence. Many people in the local community are of Italian origin or descent. Not surprisingly, Italian is one of two LOTE languages taught at Galen Catholic College.
