Sign, Melbourne & Metropolitan Tramways Board (MMTB), "Tramcar number 254", 1924
Used by the MMTB to indicate to conductors and inspectors, the tramcar number. Placed on the driver's bulkhead, facing into the tram with one at either end of the tram. The tram body was built by James Moore of South Melbourne entering service in 9/1924.
