Clothing. Girl's pink silk and lace dress with short kimono cut sleeves. Square neckline edged with coffee coloured lace. Sleeve hems edged with coffee coloured lace. 12 cm diameter circular lace inserts below neckline front and back and over each shoulder. Horizontal decorative lace pieces 4 cm X 26 cm on each hip with skirt gathered underneath the lace. Rosettes of pink and blue ribbon at each edge of the lace with three satin ribbons attached and falling to the hemline. Hem is edged with 4 cm coffee coloured lace. Girl's green silk organza dress with round neckline. Opening on left shoulder seam fastened with two press-studs. Decorative bow of pink satin ribbon attached between press-studs and falling from left shoulder seam. Short sleeves edged with two frills (2 cm) of gathered silk organza fabric. Dropped waistline with vertical rows of shirred stitching above the waistline front and back. Skirt with three layers of gathered fabric. Round neck, short sleeves, yoke back and front, nurse's blue cotton dress- uniform. Bodice gathers at yoke seam. 11 cm X 11 cm pocket on left breast. Concealed opening from neckline to hemline, has nine buttonholes - presumably buttons were exchanged between uniform dresses. One buttonhole at back neckline, and two buttonholes on the cuff of each sleeve, would also suggest a removable collar and cuffs. Two darts on either side of bodice. Hand knitted, short sleeved dress, with a tiny square neckline, with a two button opening on each shoulder. A dainty pattern, which repeats every 10 rows. A 3 cm moss stitch band on each of the short sleeves. A 2 cm band of stocking stitch defines the skirt and yoke. Stocking stitch also defines the neckline and shoulder openings. Two little 1 cm plastic pearl buttons fasten the shoulder openings. A 1.5 cm wide nylon ribbon passes through eyelets around yoke/skirt join, and ties in a bow .A picot crochet edge defines the neckline. Set-in sleeves. Hand knitted, lacey patterned baby's dress, with short, raglan sleeves, and round neck.Skirt has a lacey, fan shaped pattern of six rows (repeated), and gives a scalloped effect at the hemline. Yoke is knitted in stocking stitch, and has a 1 cm nylon ribbon passing through eyelets just above the change to the pattern.
