She married Frederick William George Woods in 1913 and they had four children, Fred, Jack, Marjorie & Betty (the future Mrs John DeDoite). After the death of Fred in 1951 Eva resided at the family's Belgrave Heights holiday home until her death in 1985. The photo shows a young woman with dark hair. She is wearing a high-collared dress trimmed with a crocheted or tatted one-piece collar. She has long earrings with several small stones.

Set of eight colour photos showing the interior of the Original St Martins Church Hall after being moved to Belgrave Heights and renovated by the Shire of Yarra Ranges to become the premises of Southern Sherbrooke Historical Society. Photographed by Susan Heywood-Downard in 2000. New panelling, new gas heater, original windows. Looking through the open door across the new decking, the Original St Martins Church can be seen in its new location. Both buildings are owned and operated by the historical society.

The Original St Martins Anglican Church and Hall, Belgrave South and Belgrave Heights are two buildings originally part of the Anglican Diocese of Belgrave but now under the care of the Southern Sherbrooke Historical Society and utilised as their premises.

B&W photo of St Martins Anglican Church in its original location on (now) Belgrave-Hallam Rd, Belgrave South. The photo shows the street face of the building with dark-stained timbers. These were probably the original oiled weatherboards which were used in 1928. In front of the church is a wide wire gate and a smaller wired gate, and part of a fence can be seen on the right. There are shrubs planted against the church wall and a noticeboard is attached to the front wall of the sanctuary. The sign says 'St Martins Church of England' but the rest is illegible. Tall trees can be seen behind the building.

The celebration of Queen Victoria's birthday on May 24 was renamed Empire Day in 1903 after her death in 1901. It was celebrated throughout the British Empire, including in Australia. Ballarat schools marched in procession with a salute at the Town Hall before attending church services at their respective churches. By the late 1950s the celebration became Commonwealth Empire Day the reference to Empire being dropped by the 1960s.These form part of a large family collection of bookmarks and local & family history items at Hymettus Cottage, home to the same family for the past 127 years in 2024. They have a well documented provenance and a known owner forming part of a significant and representative historical collection that reflects Ballarat's local history from a family perspective. They contribute to our understanding of social and family life in twentieth century Ballarat and providing interpretative capacity for family, local, and social history themes. These four bookmarks are from 1951-1954.Three Empire Day cardboard bookmarks each featuring an illustrated crown, with crossed Australian and British flags, each bookmark trimmed in gold.
