This is a pocket sized booklet. The cover is a dull red/brown colour - printed in black ink. At the top is the crest of Great Britain. At the bottom in small print - shows it is a reprint from the British Version. On the front, bottom corner is a circular patch written on that in ink was "73m". This has been crossed out, with "745.T" written in pencil above it. Inside are 16 pages of notes for instructors. The plaque is dedicated in appreciation to the Port of Melbourne from the Chartered Institute of Transport (Malaysia). The plaque is made of dark blue metal sheeting, engraved with white writing. At the top centre of the plaque is the large gold-plated seal of the Charted Institute of Transport, Malaysia which is dominated by a Pegasus. The plaque is backed by a wooden board painted back, which is hinged onto a red felt case. Demonstrates how advertising was done within W class tramcars - boxes of the driver's door and yields information about the Hardie Ace Sport shoes. Has an association with Ken Rosewall, tennis champion of the era.Poster advertising Hardie Ace sports shoes. Thought to date from the late 1960's possibly when the trams were withdrawn. "The International Choice, Hardie Ace Sports shoes, Chosen by Ken Rosewall, World Professional Tennis Champion." Has a drawing of Ken? in the poster. Were located in the end advertising panels over the doors of W3 661 and used a base for historical photographs of 661 in Melbourne (See Reg Item 4692 and 4693) until replaced during 2009, when collected. The minutes of the Bendigo RSL Sub Branch Committee. .1) The first entry s on 22.2.1960 and the last on 3.12.1974. .2) The first entry is on 33.2.1975 and the last on 2.12.1991. .3) The first entry is on 3.2.1992 and the last is on 4.12.2000. A note on the last minutes 4.12.2000 hand written by the then Secretary Jack Barnes OAM & highlighted in in pink states this was the last meeting of the Bendigo RSL prior to becoming Bendigo District RSL Sub Branch Inc. These minutes were scanned and reprinted into the Volumes in Cat No 8122.5Three Binder Folders containing Minutes of the Bendigo RSL Sub Branch. .1) February 1960 - December 1974. These Minutes are a mixture of typed and hand written which there is only a small amount. An album of photographs with some postcards compiled by Wal Jack, a Ballarat tram and rail enthusiast of Bendigo and Geelong tram photographs. Some photographs are duplicated in the Museum's holdings.Has a strong association with Wal Jack and tramway developments until 1964. Given their extent are of particular significance to the Museum and the Provincial tramways. Features Bendigo and Geelong tramcars. The West Bendigo Cricket Club has operated for over 100 years with their home ground being the Ken Wust Oval at Quarry Hill. A Committee manages the club which plays men's competition in the Emu Valley Cricket Association and the women in the Bendigo District Cricket Association.Four black and white photographs of the West Bendigo Cricket Club who were Premiers in the Protestant Young Men's Cricket Association in Seasons 1948, 49, 50, 51. The men in the team photographs are all dressed in cricket whites with arms crossed with the exception of two batsmen who are padded and holding cricket bats.
