Tourist photographs of Jerusalem sent home to family by Noel Blundell who served in the Middle East during World War 2. The black and white photographs are enclosed in a folding card packet for protection. The small photographs are of typical local scenes and there is a printed guide to where the photographs were taken. The photographs are approximately 90mm x between 55 and 65mm. The packet is printed with the following: on the front cover "SELECTED PALESTINE SNAP-PHOTOS", "SERIES: JERUSALEM 3" on the inside of the cover the brand name "VICTORY" on the reverse: a circular insignia with Hebrew and Arabic characters and the word "PALPHOT" with "MADE IN PALESTINE" printed below.

Arthur Jones was K.I.A. and is buried in an unmarked grave in the Western Front area of France. 2/ Photograph of three Australian Soldiers during World War 1. The soldier on the left is Reuben Levi Jones of West Australia who saw active service in France. The other soldiers are unknown.

The M18A1 'Claymore' Directional Fragmentation Mine which is used as part of the perimeter defences at, for example Fire Support Base or for use in ambush situations. The convex side is faced toward the enemy and the mine is configured to be electrically detonated from a remote location, (these mines can be connected by white "det cord" & detonators from the detonator wells show to link a series of mines)). It is raised off the ground by a small stand to maximise the blast radius. Claymore mines contain 700 steel ball bearings impressed into 650 grams of plastic explosive. Circular artillery prime charge powder bag made of canvas material. Set of five in a string bag. This item is two sets of five. These are made in a hexagonal shape with one side unstitched. The bag was filled with the chosen powder type and charge in the field prior to loading the artillery piece. Believed to be of Turkish origin and presumably of World War 1 origin.

Mark 2 Belgian Clone of the British Brodie helmet. After the end of the Second World War Belgium began manufacturing their own version of the British Mk.II Helmet, which came to be known as the Belgian Mk.II Clone. This helmet was used by all services of the Belgian Military; Army, Navy and Air Force, as well as in Civil Defence. Mk.II Clones were produced from 1949 to 1952 and were very similar to the British Mk.II in almost every respect. However on closer inspection the differences are obvious, most noteably with the liner. Belgian Mk.IIs have a brown leather liner with five tongues and a brown drawstring. The cross shaped crown pad has black sorbo foam covered by leather. The underside of the leather has the Belgium Crest printed, while British helmets used oilcloth. Also unlike on British made Mk.IIs, the rims and lugs are made of mild (i.e. magnetic) steel. A Belgium Flag decal was worn on the left hand side of the shell, on all Military issue helmets. Stencilled on the liner is "COMET ABL 50", with the ABL (Armee Belge/Belgische Leger).

Binoculars (or field glasses) issued to service personnel during the Boer War era. Typical non-prismatic binocular design with a central thumb screw for adjustment of focal length. The tubular optics have a swivel action to adjust for eye width. There are sliding sun hoods on the large lenses. Manufactured from brass with leather grips and loops for attaching a carrying strap.Marked with the British Department of Defence arrowhead and has the following inscription "Mk V Special 2D998"

Diver's underwater compass used by British Royal Navy clearance divers during World War ll. Originally issued to ex-RN demolition diver (frogman), PO Leslie Wade, service number RJX 162991 of the Landing Craft Obstacle Clearance Unit (LCOCU), 1939 to 1945. Wade participated in the 'Operation Overlord' D Day landing at 'Juno' Beach, Normandy, France on the 6th June, 1944, in the early hours of the morning prior to the Canadian Army task force landing. Wade was with the LCOCU team tasked with clearing anti landing craft obstacles which were destroyed by placing explosive demolition charges. note: at some stage during the day Wade was wounded by enemy mortar fire and successfully evacuated to England for treatment. This compass is a large round prismatic type compass in a substantial watertight housing designed to be worn on the lower arm (wrist area). There is a thick leather two piece strap for attaching to the arm. The compass is presumably oil filled with a rotating disc marked with the numerals 2 to 34 in mirror image characters. The compass reading is viewed through a prismatic lens attached over the fixed heading marker.The rotating disc is marked with the usual compass markings of "N, E, S, W". The disc is marked in five degree divisions with mirror image numerals indicating the "2nd to 34th" major divisions. The circular bezel surrounding the compass viewing glass is stamped "Patt 251, No 177D"compass, frogman, diver, underwater

Standard hat issued by the Royal Australian Navy to members of the Women's Royal Australian Navy Service during World War ll. This is a black, felt hat with a faded black tally band with "H.M.A.S. CERBERUS" embroidered in gold lettering. The interior of the hat has a grey sweatband. embroidered with the name : "H.M.A.S. Cerberus" and a sewn, labelled tag on the inside of the hat reading "N18, 1944, Size 21-1/2, MADE IN AUSTRALIA".

Small individual container of Australian Department of Defence issue foot powder for anti-bacterial treatment of the skin. Possibly issued to Australian service personnel during the Vietnam era. The container has a sliding perforated lid to enable the user to sprinkle the powder on the skin.The container is marked on front and back sides with the following "FOOT POWDER", "D /l\ D", "NET WEIGHT 2 OZS", "MANUFACTURED BY MURPHY LIEBERT PTY LTD SYDNEY AUSTRALIA" The side of the container is marked "PD 2/66".

Trench art desk set consisting of a wooden base with two inkwells, a pen rest and an ornate carrying handle. The two inkwells have been made from fuse fittings removed from 18 pounder artillery projectiles. The fittings have been modified to enable the tip to hinge open revealing an ink well. The bottom of the wells has been sealed by inserting coins, one well has a British halfpenny coin and the other has a French five centimes coin. The item is of World War 1 origin and has a small shield attached with the inscription "FRANCE 1916-7 BELGIUM"There is a shield with the inscription "FRANCE 1916-7 BELGIUM".
