Two extracts from the Londonderry Shaft Mine Manager, W. Westhead's Report dated 20 - 7 - 1905 and 3 - 8 - 1905. First report states the cutting out ground for the brick dam at 596 ft is completed and the second report states the bricklayers have completed the dam.
