These are handwritten land receipt documents between Maxwell Proctor and W. Hunter (owner) 1946 - 1951 and between M.H. Proctor and H. Proctor 1947, 1948 and 1949.Two sets of handwritten land receipts in a used envelope with blue type at the bottom: Chamber of Manufactures Insurance Ltd. The first set of three receipts are written in copperplate handwriting for Mr. M. H. Proctor and are for the purchase of land, from W. Hunter (owner of the land). They are dated Feb 28th 1946, 17th April 1951 and an indecipherable date o the last one. The second set of six handwritten receipts are from M. H. Proctor to H. Proctor for land purchased: May 27th 1947, Dec 7th 1947, June 22nd 1948, Dec 14th 1948, May 30th 1949 and Dec.6th 1949. Made pre WW2, could have been used in WW2 and KoreaWooden Grips are attached to a single edge blade by four screws. Bayonet locking section has a clearing hole. The right hand grip is stamped with the number "2" indicating it is from the second Military District (N.S.W.) The blade curves up to a point. The blade is made of steel and has a full length fuller. It is complete with a leather and steel scabbard marked Mangovite 41. It is a Pattern 1907 Bayonet. The ricasso R.H.S. is marked with 24, broad arrow, and an X, which indicates sold out of service. The Lehmann toy company exported toys to the USA from 1895 to 1929 and specialized in mechanical, friction transportation and lithographed wind-up tinplate toys. Founded by Ernest Lehmann Co. in Brandenberg, Germany, 1881. In 1951 the fim re-established and is still making friction toys. Some of the most famous include: Autobus, the Dancing Sailor and Icarus. Lehmann distinguished itself early 20th-century by releasing small tin toys which were cheaper than the toys the competition made. End of the 19th century, beginning of th 20th, competitors were producing heavy, cast-iron toys. By the 1920s the Lehmann company had a staff over 800 people and made 80+ different toy designs.How it is significant? After his experience in designing moderately priced furniture in the 1930s and managing the construction of aircraft by an inexperienced workforce during World War II, designer Frederick Ward developed Patterncraft paper patterns. They were available by mail order through Australian Home Beautiful from 1947. For those with rudimentary skills Ward developed Timber-pack kits of components ready to glue and assemble. Blueprint, his subsequent project for the mass-market was launched in 1951.
