Of further importance is that William George Hogg served in the same unit as William Lionel Schwerkolt in the First World War in France. Frank Fisher went to Japan as part of Australian Contingent of Occupying Forces after World War 2. Family - wife Ethel, Children Valma 15, Joycelyn 13 and Bruce joined him in 1947, living in Hiroshima Prefecture until 1949.
