It is believed to have been used by the donor's husband whilst on active service during World War Two. Cataloguer used a similar razor during service in 1942-45A 'Valet' auto-strop safety razor enclosed in a lidded bakelite box, with enclosures for Razor and spare blades. Box is brown in colour. Was with many other slides taken in the 1950s and 1960s. The slides have been photographed to make digital images and moved to archive quality sleeves.
