Received anonymously by a teacher of the Lace Guild of Australia, Victorian Branch. Karolina Jeffers of Vermont. Donor told Karolina that the lace had belonged to her aunt. The aunt had worked in a dressmakers in Flinders Lane in the 1930s where she acquired the lace. Donor was in her 80s when she gave the lace to Karokina.1. Small white round piece of Irish crochet. This item was used as a general purpose cart on the Livermore Orchard in Vermont and was donated by Mr. Livermore when the orchard was sold for housing development.|In the 1840's a vehicle known as a springcart, chaise cart, and family cart was the choice of colonist who needed to travel from town to town. Noel Webster was mayor of the City of Nunawading from 1973 to 1974. He was a founding member of the Vermont High School council and a board member of Maroondah Hospital. He was involved in U3A and was a founding member of the Early Planning for Retirement Association. Jean Webster was the president of the Nunawading Historical Society and both assisted the resettlement of Cambodian migrants.
