Opera Australia and QPAC and Events Queensland presented operas to Brisbane audiences from 26 May - 9 June 2012 at Lyric Theatre, QPAC. Jacqueline Dark performed Hippolyta in A Midsummer Night's Dream, a Benjamin Britten opera. Words by William Shakespeare. It opened on June 1, 5, and 7 with matinees at 1pm on June 9.
