An early advertising brochure for prospective homeowners to choose the style of home they would like built. House and land packages were available in the areas of Bundoora surrounding the Loyola and Parade College sites, which were monasteries in the 1960s. The aerial photographs show the open nature of the landscape from Bundoora across to Greensborough and Watsonia in the 1960s. Book of black and white photographs bound in brown card cover. At bottom of frame are the details of the donation of this item. Framed under glass in wooden frame.Front: PRESENTED TO THE TOWN OF PORTLAND BY THE PARISH COUNCIL OF STOKESLEY, ENGLAND 1984 (typed, upper case). Mrs. Jane Henty, wife of the Hon. Stephen George henty, M.L.C. The first white woman in Portland, the earliest permanent settlement in the State of Cictoria, Australia. Born at Stokesley, 8th February 1817, daughter of Captain Walter Pace. Landed at Portland, June 1836. Died at Hamilton, Victoria, 3rd February 1906.
