Sydney was commissioned into the Australian Navy in September 1935. H M A S Sydney was a modified "Leander" class Cruiser. Sydney was involved in offensive actions in the theatre of war. .

This programme and accompanying music was gifted to the school as part of the W H Keith Young collection. The music has personal notations from W H Keith Young. This programme includes [20] p. of advertisements, programs and ports for the Home to Ballaarat festival held 28 January - 3 February 1927 featuring the launch of the 'Home to Ballaarat' song words and music by Reginald Stoneham and Will A Bevan. .
