This nurse's uniform (probably a Nurse's Aid uniform) was used at the Ballarat Base hospital.This nurses uniform comprises a mauve princess style dress with short sleeves, a front zipper, side pockets and white piping around the collar, sleeve cuff and pocket trim. They were made of unlined woollen fabric and were wrist length and worn by Alfred Hospital student nurses until 1992.This nurses cape was made before 1970 as Ball & Welch Ltd was bought out in 1970. .2) RANF was between 1971-1988. Peter Collett was the stepson of Eric Boardman, who owner and produced the local newspaper, "Sunbury News" until it was taken over by Broadglen Publishing in 1965.It is an image of six nurses who worked at the Sunbury Asylum.
