This flag represented the North Vietnamese people. After the war it was adopted as the national flag and is referred to as the Flag Of the Socialist flag of Vietnam now. This item was donated by Peter S Sims, who served as a Corporal in the Royal Australian Army Medical Corps in Vietnam 1969-70.Red colored small flag with bright yellow star in the center.
