Letterhead is 'The Royal Humane Society of Australasia, instituted 1874'. 'Fergusson & Mitchell' printed underneath letterhead. Text reads: This is to certify that at a competitive examination held at ........(blank) was adjudged to be the most proficient in theoeretical knowledge of the Society's directions for saving life from drowning, sunstroke, snakebite, etc' Document is from late 1800's.
