A small souvenir model of the Australian Army 'slouch hat' complete with folded brim to one side and the 'rising sun' hat badge. The model was presumably stamped from thin Copper plate. The impression of the hat badge is similar to the 1949 'fourth pattern' Australian Military Forces badge with the King's Crown. -

A pair of large, heavy glass drinking tankards complete with handle. The tankards are made from clear glass and are gold lipped. These tankards are embellished with a 75th anniversary logo and details of the Frankston Returned & Services League of Australia Sub Branch in gold leaf on the external surface.These tankards have the following inscription in gold leaf : "75 Anniversary 1920 - 1995" and the words "FRANKSTON SUB BRANCH CHARTERED JANUARY1st 1920" encircling a representation of the Returned & Services League of Australia badge. -

A trophy in the form of a small replica of an Australian Army 'slouch hat' mounted on a circular stand. The 'slouch hat' is silver plated, has a turned brim on the left hand side and has a 'rising sun' hat badge. The circular stand is made of a light gauge steel which has been pressed in the form of an inverted dish and is coloured with a mid brown finish. There is a silver plated label attached to the dish which has been engraved indicating that this item was originally a trophy (origin unknown). The label has the following engraved inscription "R. Souvenir tea towels made for the 40th anniversary commemoration of the formation of the Australian Women's Army Service which was formed on the 13th August 1941. There are eight of these linen tea towels screen printed in colour on a plain background. There are blue, maroon and green examples. The tea towels feature the badge of the A.W.A.S. ASSOCIATION VIC. and the date of formation.The tea towels have the following screen printed in colour: The badge of the A.W.A.S. Embroidered with the Australian Commonwealth Military Forces badge the Australian and British flags surrounded by a plant with flowers in green and blue threads. There is also small cellophane pocket with an embroidered border on three sides which would hold a photograph. The cloth has an off-white material backing attached. Dated 1940, WW2.
