Demonstrates aspects of the Ballarat Tramways management system of Motorman's' rosters interfacing during the last full period of operation of the tramway. Shows the services and how the various run or crew tables were arranged in relation to the overall timetable. Photo copy on heat sensitive paper of a handwritten sheet on graph paper for the arrangement of the Weekdays, Saturday and Sunday Rosters on the various Ballarat routes. Gives the various run numbers, sign on location, trip take times, notes on what to do with trams, sign off times, interface with other runs. Shows the full or basic 20 min service during the day and 30 mins at night. Show how the various run or crew tables were arranged to provide the service overall. Image of Ballarat tram 27 at the Mt Pleasant terminus with the driver/conductor putting the trolley pole back on the overhead wire. The pole on the left shows two tram stop signs. The shop on the right has adverts for The Sun, Robur Tea, TV Week and Peters Ice Cream. This photograph was used in an interpretative panel at the terminus installed in 2020 by the local history group. Copy negative of a photograph of L 101 Balaclava Junction Hawthorn Road Caufield, with a destination of Glenhuntly Depot. The tram was fitted with a route number boxes in June 1939, which provides a date era for the tram, but is yet to have its drop centre floor raised. Points of interest in the photograph are the lack of white lines along the tracks, safety zone equipment behind the tram, the "Hail Cars Here" tram stop sign on a steel pole by a traffic light and the style of traffic light. Two advertising panels on the front of the tram advertise "Jex Soap Pads" and the musical "Hair" at the Metro Theatre Bourke St. Two Fords are alongside the tramcar. The original source of photograph unknown. The Musical "Hair" was presented in Melbourne during 1971. Negative No. N383 and black and white print made by a laser printer (stored in folder) of Ballarat No. 35 at the City Terminus in Sturt St, south side with the conductor (appears to be No. 17) standing by the front of the tram.
