Forty-one faded gold edge page book with 'Album' stamped in gold on front cover used as Autograph book. Poetry and hand drawn art works date from 1908-15. Enclosed notes dated 20th July 2009 indicate that book was owned by Nora Ronald of 183 Wattle Street Bendigo, born 1892- 1968 and donated to BHS by Ron Hook 2/2 Gordon St Port McQuarrie via Ralph Birrell. Illustrations and poems with some containing WW1 aspects provide a valuable insight into one of Bendigo's socialite 'young lady's' interests. Postcard, WW1, B&W image of the grave of German airman, Baron von Richthofen, shot down in the Somme area. He was buried at Bertangles by members of the Australian Flying Corps. The grave is mounded with earth with flowers on top. At the head of the grave is one propeller stuck in the ground.
