"The Association was officially launched in November 1967 with the aim of preserving and maintaining good relations and understanding within the cattle industry and between that industry and all bodies and organisations with which the industry is associated in the spheres of Government, and land use and marketing." (ref Mountain Cattlemen's Association web-site) Since 1972, the Mountain Cattlemen’s Association of Victoria, have produced a journal, “The Voice of the Mountains”. This journal commemorates the activities and history of the previous twelve months and bygone years of cattlemen and their families. This item was used in the library of Orbost Secondary College. The journals form a part of Victoria’s history and are a useful research tool.A 48 pp book covered in clear contact.On the front cover is a photograph, "Mustering Herefords on the Bluff". Gwen McWilliam is well known as an authority on the history of Boroondara and the author of a large number of books and pamphlets about the City. She was awarded the medal of the Order of Australia in 2001 ‘for service to the community of Hawthorn and district, particularly through the research, documentation and publication of its history.’ This map from her collection was donated to the Kew Historical SocietyPlan of Heidelberg, annotated with details about the occupancy pre and post European settlement. The plan also contains geological references. The plan is included and analysed in volume 2 of the Heidelberg Conservation Study (1985). The original plan was published created in 1982. Dr Liam Hugh Wright was the first President of the RNZCOG, between 1982 and 1984.Head and shoulder portrait photograph of a man. The man is wearing an academic cap and gown, with a wide purple sash running around the collar of the gown. The man has grey hair, which is visible on the sides of his head, and is wearing a grey suit jacket, white shirt, and a tie with a dark coloured pattern beneath the robe. I set of vertical blinds is visible in the background. The photograph is framed in a dark coloured wooden frame with gold trim on the inner edge, surrounding the image. Handwritten text at top centre on the back of the frame reads 'MR LIAM WRIGHT/PRESIDENT RNZCOG'. A length of cord and two circular fittings have been attached to the back of the frame for hanging.

This is the 1982 Annual Report for Lyndoch Home and Hospital for the Aged, Warrnambool. It contains lists of Board Members, a President’s Report, Lyndoch’s Aims, financial reports, photographs and a list of Life Governors. Lyndoch Home for the Aged was established in 1952 and has developed with a wide range of facilities for the aged since that date. The original Lyndoch property near the mouth of the Hopkins River was owned by a Melbourne tea merchant, George Rolfe, who bought the land when there were on the site only a couple of cottages and a larger building which had been a school, Warrnambool Grammar, run by Henry Kemmis. Rolfe acquired the land in the 1870s and named the property Lyndoch after the town in the Barossa Valley where he had lived. He owned Lyndoch for 44 years and it was his stepdaughter, Florence Lake who built in the 1920s the bungalow known as Lyndoch which forms the original building of the Lyndoch Home for the Aged, Today the facility is called Lyndoch Living. This 1982 report is kept for the benefit of researchers wanting details of the history of Lyndoch over the past 30 or 40 years. This is a booklet with a plasticized cover with a white back and a multi-coloured front cover. The front cover has a photograph of a Lyndoch building. There are six double-sided pages with printed material and photographs on white paper and a yellow and orange strip across the top of the pages.
