Set of seven Black and white photographs on Kodak paper for the arrangements and work for the track reconstruction of Commercial Road Prahran. Series of photos show Down track already complete. Probably second half of October or early November 1965. (Electric Traction 11/65) (Unusual to have two jobs at once - see Hawthorn Rd - Reg item 1421). Series show the construction method. Temporary track formed by progressively lifting original track on to side of road each night. Relaying then follows progressively. Lettered in blue ball point pen and underlined in red. 2225.2 - Section titled "Single Tramcar' (Single truck trams) and detailing the use, number and where the tram was taken to, or disposed to from Ballarat following closure. Lists 16 tramcars. Trams 31 and 32 were shown as SEC Creswick Road. 31 - later to (Kaniva > Haddon > USA). Lettered in blue ink or pencil with red lining. 32 - Maryborough, then to BTM Collection. 2225.3 - Section titled "Bogie Tramcar' and detailing the use, number and where the tram was taken to, or disposed to from Ballarat following closure. Set of three colour photographs of possibly the former stables at the rear of the former Canberra Hotel, corner Macarthur St and Creswick Road. Was known in the horse tram days as the Vine Hotel. Attached to the worksheet notes is an item prepared by Alan Bradley for the Jan. 2003 issue of Fares Please! The first paragraph notes the visit to the premises, now a Bed & Breakfast known as "A Special Occasion".
