On July 27, 2004 this letter was sent out to audio-profiled members to advise that their membership in RBS, RVIB or VAF would automatically be transferred to the new entity - RBS.RVIB.VAF Ltd. Kiran Mazumdar-Shaw was the first and only female enrolled as a student in the brewer and biotechnologist course at BCAE In 1974. Her diligence paid off when she managed to top the class, and vital knowledge and understandings acquired during her course have subsequently contributed to other successes. On 13 December 2004 the University of Ballarat recognised Mazumdar-Shaw's pre-eminent contribution to the field of biotechnology when she was presented with an Honorary Doctorate. The Merbein RVIB Auxiliary was formed on September 23, 1931. This small collection contains index cards which were maintained by RVIB and contain the amount of donations made by the Auxiliary between 1976 - 1995 as well as the presentations delivered by RVIB employees to Auxiliary meetings between 1973 - 1985. Correspondence to and from RVIB head office ranging between 1990 -2004. There is also reference to a poem by Tilly Aston sent to Mr Jenner's President from 1993-2004 mother and a copy apparently sent to the RVIB history archives at the time.
