The competition looked specifically at 'doorways and openings'. Wire-framed circlet. Frame covered in cotton netting. Frame has a scalloped design 3cms high. The over lapping scallops are covered in small pearl beads. Lemon coloured bri-nylon braid Folded in a concertina-like manner, the top embroidered layer is 3cm wide and has a double underlayer of 5cm width. Fabric is overlocked along the top edge to hold these layers in place. Embroidered in a leaf-like design, along a curved wavy thread in a silk like thread. Pink nightgown made from flocked nylon featuring a dotted design of butterflies, and triple dots. Twelve bands of elastic shirring define the waistline, and give fullness to the bodice. Shoulder straps 4.5 cm wide, widening to 7 cms at the top of the shoulder are edged with a 2 cm plain pink nylon frill.
