This postcard depicts Lake Kerferd during the winter season. With the photograph possibly been taken in the 1930s.The postcard holds Historic significance due to its connection to Beechworth and its Lake Kerford. It demonstrates the interactions between nature and colonialists, especially how the lake is surrounded by man made fencing and roads.
