Legacy organised many events and activities for Legacy widows to enjoy. This is a day trip to Warrandyte Hotel on 9 June 1992. Names have been written on the back of one, including Julie, Charlotte, Mollie Thiele (in pink dress), Dorothy (in blue with red scarf), Jean, Gwen at Warrandyte Hotel. Newsletters of the time show the number and variety of activities that Legacy provided for the widows. Russell, 28-9-1929. The accompanying letter mentions Miss Russell was Secretary of Ringwood Presbyterian Church Ladies Guild around that time, and that Trevor Hamilton took on the post of Head Teacher at South Warrandyte State School in 1925, and later taught at Ringwood and Ringwood North State Schools.
