This linoleum is in-situ in one of the rooms of the house at Days Mill. Newspaper laid underneath indicates the linoleum was laid after September 1910.PATTERNED LINOLEUM : A floor covering made from materials such as solidified linseed oil (linoxyn), pine rosin, ground cork dust, wood flour, and mineral fillers such as calcium carbonate, most commonly on a burlap or canvas backing. This piece has a cream & light grey mosaic type background with circular brown leaf repeating patterns interlaced into four square blue shapes. Central star pattern within circular leaf pattern in light & dark blues & browns. Stylised floral motif in between each circular & square shaped pattern repeats.

Found, stored on-site.Wooden frame with inscriptions, mainly indecipherable. Has vice on each side at base. No rollers. See mangle rollers DM3163 and DM2977, these fit into frame."PATENT / Sept.3. 1867 / may 13 1868

Used to secure rope to stay in a certain position. Found in the stive room. There are wear patterns around holes where rope has been pulled through.Wooden keyhole shaped objects with three holes each.

Unknown, timber object. Has a moving handle part with 'A' frame supporting the handle and bolted to the frame.

Probably hand made on property.One object looks like a handle, another is like a short poker with a small handle at one end and the other is a "D" shape with a loop at one side.

Possibly used to hold small lengths of string that could be accessed through hole in front.Small bag handmade of hessian. Has a string handle at top and has a hole in the centre that has been roughly sewn around edge of hole. There are small lengths of string inside the bag. It has been repaired at the back with string. Inscription on hessian.

Would have been attached to a horse halter or bridle over horse's eyes to prevent flies infecting horse's eyes.Coloured string hand knotted into a fringed object. Colours have faded, but appears to have been red, green & yellow.

Possibly a child's cup as it is small and has the word "darling" on it.Small aluminium cup. Has a side handle and embossed decoration and inscription, "DARLING".Metal has some tears around the top and general dents."DARLING"

Lid from tin which contained cheddar cheese.Round shaped tin lid with yellow background and red detail. Rim faces downwards."KEEP TIN CAREFULLY CLOSED. TO OPEN INSERT A../ WALKER'S/ RED FEATHER BRAND/ PUREST RICHEST/ SPECIAL/ CHEDDAR CHEESE"

Possibly used to hold molasses, as it has traces of the scent of molassesJug shaped canister with loop handle, conical shaped top with cylindrical lid and body traces of black paint on surface. Large dent in side of canister, surface rust, paint peeling.

Two cloth bags, one with a drawstring. Both bags have inscriptions. Also a portion of string fibres and a double headed brush - each brush head wound with wire.On bag with drawstring, the British coat of arms then , "WALKERS / PARK.R & CO / Patent Shot / LONDON / No. 2". On other bag, "HAMEL / VICTORIA TOWER / PATENT SHOT / No 2".

Used for pouring liquids and other substances.Funnels x 7, handmade. 6 conical shaped, 2 of these have angled spouts, vertical spouts on other 4. 1 x squarish shaped funnel, spout, vertical. 6 funnels have a ring for hanging purposes. Some have mesh where the spout joins body of funnel.[square funnel]: shell motif/ "BIO.."

Unknown. Possibly lid of water tank?Handmade remodelled lid, enamelled, cream colour, circular. Shape possibly cut with tin snips. Underside has 2 braces in cross shape riveted to lid. Braces bent down at edges of lid (possibly to fit on base?). Upper side, has lids, 1 toward top and 1 at bottom.
